Lisa has been a contributing editor to Runner’s World and Yoga Journal, a special projects editor to Runner's World and Backpacker, and a special projects editor to PodiumRunner and Women's Running. She was the co-founding and managing editor of Adventure Sports magazine (2002-2005), and an editor at Trail Runner magazine (2002). For Runner's World, Lisa was the Baby Steps blogger (2007-2011), the Shoes & Gear blogger (2011-2012), and the Trailhead blogger and trail running microsite editor (2012-2015). She managed the family content for Backpacker (2018-2019), trail running content for Women's Running and PodiumRunner (2020-2021), and is currently writing a twice-monthly gear column for Outside. She also co-manages and writes the road and trail running shoe reviews for Outside Magazine and the Outside Buyer's Guide, and freelances for multiple national publications while also writing for non-profits.
