As a writer, editor and author, Lisa thrives on bringing to life the sports she loves, but can write and manage projects across industries. As a journalist, she’s been published in dozens of magazines, including: Backpacker, Cosmo, Details, Fitness, Men's Health, Men's Journal, Mental Floss, Mountain, Outside, Outside Buyer's Guide, Runner's World, Shape, and others. She was a contributing editor and columnist for Runner's World for 15 years, and currently writes regularly for Outside and Outside Buyer's Guide. Lisa specializes in writing about running and endurance/adventure sports.
Lisa also writes advertising copy, freelances as an editor, and writes and manages content marketing projects. She’s written two books: "Running That Doesn't Suck: How To Love Running (Even If You Think You Hate It)" (Running Press, 2019), and “Trailhead: The Dirt on All Things Trail Running,” (VeloPress, 2015). She also has a Road Runners Club of America coaching certification. |
